"They were also one of the first to bring level EDITING AND SHARING to the consoles."

read please.

They've pretty much pioneered both the FPS standard on dual analogue controllers as well as the way almost all of us experience multiplayer games.

They were also one of the first to bring level editing and sharing to the consoles.

big magazines and publications get review copies of the game. IGN has had there's for a week I think they said.

Why would he even read a PS3 game's review unless he owned one?

they did most of their interviews after GT5 was confirmed for 2010. Why would they panic about a 2009 release date if they already knew it wasn't a 2002 release?

When he says years ahead of everything on the market, he means ON THE MARKET. Not will be on the market in a half a year.

Forza 3 as a simulator is quite advanced largely in part because most simulators just aren't popular in the main stream and don't justify a budget anywhere near forza's (same with GT, but, again, it's not on the market yet).

HAY! LETS ALL MAKE FUN OF THE 360 CUZ WE DON'T HAVE OR OWN ONE! THAT WAY MAYBE SOMEBODY WILL THINK WE'RE COOL!

Pardon me for taking the word of an industry professional deeply involved in game development over a bunch of internet trolls with little to no programming experience.

It's actually the opposite of this. $50 mail in rebates give a visual price of 50 bucks less, but few people actually send them in. Pretty much you get a visual price drop but you still get the full price on a large percent of the consoles sold.

You don't need to test the waters to know that a price drop will increase sales.

what game is this promoting?

edit: @ above. The ODST controller was way better than the halo 3 bundle. God that thing was ugly.

Heavenly sword had no multiplayer components. When you finished the 6 hour game it was done.

Despite that it's still only rated 6 points behind on metacritic. Cry me a river.

but strategy informer has to be one of the stupidest names for a website I've ever heard.

What does it even mean?

6115d ago 6 agree12 disagreeView comment

That's supposed to be one of the most interesting parts of the game when you hear about ODST. It's barely mentioned (if at all... can't remember).

It also comes with enough multiplayer stuff added in to be worth half the price before the campaign and firefight are brought up.

Every 2-3 months they give you 5 bucks to spend in their store, and it expires right after you get the next one, so about every 4-6 months you can get a free cheap game. I got assassin's creed that way.

But it didn't change the visual price to the consumer. It changed the price of the sku, but the price of the most popular sku stayed the same.

the biggest hit is that 360 still maintains mostly timed exclusives. A lot of the PS3 stolen exclusives are either huge established franchises (such as final fantasy and metal gear) or are released simultaneously. Many of the exclusives on the 360 later picked up on the PS3 are still timed exclusives for a year or so before they are released.

Some of them are better after a year of development, but it's still essentially a game you could have been playing a year ago on the 360.

All they really did was up the size of the Pro HD, change it to black, and get rid of the elite. Not really what I'd consider a price drop.

So I changed it. Someone was RROD sensitive.

maxing out doesn't mean you can't get better results. It means you are using all the resources. If I drive my car in first gear at 7000 rpm I'm maxing out my engine. I can still shift into second and go faster.

It's the same with the PS3 and the 360 when you hear devs say this.

There's plenty that can be done with it. You could use it to potentially offer some sort of in game response to how you react to certain games. It could be used to implement features like head tracking. It would be great for menu navigation when used in tandem with head tracking.

And for what was said about rts. You're really just using different gestures with your hands when you play with a keyboard and mouse. You'd just have to do slightly different gestures this way too. Combi...
